You know, as much as I was just defending it, that about matches my experience watching Kiva too. Although watching it with TV-Nihon subs didn't help matters (2008 TV-N is baaaaaaad). I guess it really just doesn't bother me anywhere near as much.

Also, the movie seems to have completely broken whatever was left of your spirit, so it's probably a good thing I just saved it for after I was done with the series proper.
