this is not about comparing the executive producers, this is about story writing in general, warning this is going to be a long post:

i feel like the disney seasons were written better than saban because nothing was forced, everything about their powers, zords, weapons, they always had a backstory behind them and they didnt repeat the same stories from a previous seasons,

everything was different like it was part of theme like they were ninjas in ninjastorm, cops in spd, magic in mystic force, treasure hunting in overdrive, martial arts in jungle fury, cars in rpm, i know samurai was copy from shinkenger but im glad they used the samurai elements because that was part of the theme but after that,

they started getting away from it and started reusing themes from other series in megaforce, dino charge and im pretty sure ninja steel is like dino charge and they just force new toys in every episodes without any story backgrounds, it's like just here's your new powers and let the footage do the rest.

that's just lazy writing, there's no hype in the story, everything is just predicable like with the disney seasons, they were so good with hype of new powers and gear, it was like you didnt know what was going to happen.

that's thing im missing with saban, i just feels nothing like disney when it comes to the writing.
