[Switchblade]

Kind of a weird episode this week in that it's mostly set-up for next week's episode. A lot of dominoes are lined up, but I can't help but feel that not much actually happened outside of Kagome joining and immediately betraying the team. I'm not entirely sure what I think about her: she's either a well-meaning moron or she's secretly following her own agenda and I can't tell which it is yet. In either case her barrier spell reminds me a lot of the David Lynch Dune movie, which is amusing to me.

In other news, I'm starting to reevaluate Alice. I think it's less likely now that she has some kind of hidden power and more that she's just sort of an idiot who's gotten really luck so far.
