No, it's not the end of planet hopping. This is just the start of the first arc. The first five episodes are the "prologue" of the story and episode 6 onward marks the first major story arc, called the Earth Liberation arc. We might be on Earth for a while, but I by no means see any reason to think it'll be the rest of the show when they specifically went out of their way to brand the next stretch as something different.

(I'm thinking we'll see the characters see earth either by episode 13 or 26)
