Same here. Adding to this I loved how positive he was overall despite his personal issues, and it helped lighten the mood of the show overall during his arc. A lot of people think brooding emo man when they see Uchiyama(the actor who plays Ren) because of his more well-known portrayal as Kageyama/Punch Hopper, so this is a good role for him to show that he is capable of playing more than a yuppy Kamen Rider who falls from grace and re-emerges as emo man.
Anyways, Ren was my favorite as Nexus.
Oh yeah, and Aoi Kajitsu is one of the best Ultraman theme songs out there.
The song is just perfect for Ren.
