[Fish Sandwich]

Watched through episode 42 of Gingaman. Some scattered thoughts:

- Okay, first off, can I just mention that Bull Black is one of my favorite designs in Sentai? Like, wow, what a cool suit. I want a V-Cinema buddy cop movie with him and Wolzard or something. I don't know how that would make any sense, or what motivation Toei would have to make it, but a guy can dream.

- I love how with the addition of Giga Vitus and crew, the mecha fights now follow a distinct formula of "form Gingai-Oh", "Gingai-Oh gets its paint slightly scratched", and then "Oh no, this guy's way too tough for us to handle! Giga Vitus!". To be fair, I guess it would be pretty unexciting for the new guys to just chill in that waterfall 24/7.

- My theory about Hayate getting the best episodes still stands. 36 was all about him and Yuuta's dad saving the day and it was amazing.

- Also, similarly to the Hayate theory, anytime there's a two-parter, it's awesome.

- And a quick shout-out to the obligatory "monster that isn't really a bad guy" episode. I'm a sucker for those plots and this one was great. Plus I like Hikaru a lot so it's even better!

- I'm starting to appreciate Ryouma a lot more. There's a nice subtle arc to him that I wasn't really noticing at first. He's still as quick to act as ever, but instead of being pure bravado, it's more genuine confidence now.
