Minipla Daizyujin arrived earlier today, and... I'm actually a little hesitant to continue assembling him. Do the rest of you use tools when assembling kits?

(Also, I got Kyuranger 2 in the mail. And - neat! - the flip side of the Shishi Kyutama has a different sticker than the first release.)

For model kits like Gunpla, I tend to use side cutters (or nippers if that's what you want to call them) to cut the pieces off the runner and then use an exacto knife to trim the excess plastic (nubs). For minipla I find you don't need cutters and just use my fingers like you but exacto knife can be useful too but not always needed. I haven't built the Super Minipla Daizyujin yet though so I can't say what I'd need for it.
