Friendly reminder that the lack of upcoming toys means nothing. Brave's been getting along just fine with his Q1 Gashat for a while now, and is likely getting an upgrade (that seems to be a nice cheap reuse of True Brave's armor) specifically because the show's narrative ended up making the Gear Dual Beta pretty definitively Taiga's. Remember, figuring out how to beat enemies stronger than you is the best part about games. Emu said so himself.

Besides, if Taiga dying is this transparent at this point... wouldn't the most Ex-Aid possible thing for Ex-Aid to do be NOT killing him? This show seems to actively mock the idea of being predictable a lot of the time, so...

All that said, Taiga's totally biting the dust by the final episode, isn't he?

Anyway, this was a nice episode, but Ex-Aid's been a show with highs and lows for me and it seems like next week is one of those big highs again. Can't wait for it.

It also warms my heart to see everyone here sticking up for Emu, who, as I've ranted about a lot lately, could really use the love. I just wish you guys didn't have to throw poor Takeru under the bus to do it.
