Considering the canon twisting and imaginative take this Boom series has taken, I doubt nostalgia-filter readers will be that interested in Lord Drakkon or the off formula structure of the story to begin with.

I only have personal anecdotes to draw from, but when the movie came out, my wife was super excited. She loved it. Keeps asking me if I've heard rumblings for a sequel.

We started watching MMPR from the beginning and she had questions about Tommy's change from Green to White, why his suit looks different and where the Thunderzords actually came from.

She enjoyed season 3 because she remembered the "Ninjetti Powers" the most, but admittedly more from the first MMPR movie, and not the actual season.

When we got to Zeo, her first question was "Why does Tommy's helmet look like something a seal would balance on the end of it's nose?"

No one remembers Zeo.

And speaking of Zeo.

Anedoctal point 2, during the MMPR movie (2017), theater was packed. Zeo crystal comes up and I hear murmurs about me from nearly all sides about how that sounds familiar but they really can't recall why.
