Last thing I'm going to say about this. They all referenced people they know to speak about that specific persons opinion which is still secondhand and doesn't speak to the majority of the fandom like you talked about. You spoke about the people you know at numerous comic book stores to back up a theory that a majority of the fandom feels the same way. You can only prove that a majority of the people you've talked to feel a certain way and I use the word "prove" very loosely. I never once asserted anything about any group only that you couldn't possibly do it either.

*sighs* Do you know how statistics are proven? By talking groups of people and taking the data they've collected and going off of that. So, for instance, if you ask 10 people if they like pizza, and 9 say yes, then you can say that a majority of people like pizza. He's doing the exact same thing. He's been using statistics. NOW STOP THIS.

Edit: Might I add that statistics aren't always correct nor do they always fully represent the whole. But you know what the hell I mean.
