Random post about Ultraman so here goes.
I liked Ultraman 80 because of an Ultraman being a school teacher is interesting and fun. Keep in mind this was a decade prior to Fiveman where the rangers were teachers. They basically took Kinpachi Sensei, a popular school drama that aired its first season a year ago and got on the bandwagon to give it the Ultraman spin. And that Ultraman 80 centered episode in Ultraman Mebius was just AWESOME. Design might not have been the best but the show was nice.
