You don't seem to know what you're talking about. Studios literally can not ban anyone from posting spoilers, you're talking about review embargoes which are a different thing.
A user here by the name of Dr. Kain is a toku fan. He hasn't watched Ghost or Drive yet is planning on doing so. Another user by the name of Phantom Stranger wants to watch Ex-Aid but has been pretty busy with other things and other shows. A mere 4 months isn't enough. Hell, Xenoblade Chronicles fans were angry when Smash Bros and the trailer for the 3D port spoiled major plot points. And recently is subjective anyway, though I'm certain most people would argue 4 months is still recent.
Of COURSE the shows are gonna be different in tone! Ever heard of time slots? Kamen Rider airs at... 8AM in Japan, where kids are likely to be awake and able to watch television. You can have more mature/gritty shows at 8PM because the young kids are already in bed, at 10PM there are movies for adults, etc. It's common practice for television studios around the world.

You're a hypocrite as you complained Poppy didn't get enough focus in the show, and you're an idiot if you think a show would spend 12 episodes focusing primarily on one of the 5 Riders who isn't the protagonist
