Not to mention Toku shows and movies aim to kids use to get away with monsters getting rip in half or have blood come out them too. I do miss those days, but sadly it seems like Japan has became strict on content for kids media similar how the US is.

Ironic how they're cracking down on censorship in this day and age when many kids are probably exposed to "inappropriate" stuff much younger then they probably would have in 80s and 90s thanks to the internet. Evolution can be really strange sometimes.

I know right? I was checking out a video that showed some of the censorship RE7 had to go through when it got to Japan and I laughed at some of the changes that were made. I wonder how much skin a Tokusatsu would be able to get away with showing...
