Maybe, maybe not, it just felt really unnatural to me that a problem this big would be sidelined and only mentioned briefly for this long when it should affect the team in a much bigger way.

Yeah but that's the thing, do you really think Champ would let that be it? Just mentioning it every now and then? I mean he's a robot, but he acts human and every human I know would want to get to the bottom of this as fast as possible. Maybe he held it back for the team, pretty sure that is the reason, but as a team, they should've wanted to handle this sooner, especially since they had multiple episodes were Stinger and Champ didn't participate in the action.

Maybe they could've made this feel a bit more natural if they spend time cutting back to the ship and have the two clash some more with other team-mates stepping in and thus delaying the conflict. As opposed to having me believe Champ just holds back for this long.

Yeah as I said, I can believe Stinger being that guy but how this was delayed until Scorpio actually shows up is just a bit too convenient to me.
