...And we're right back on track after last week's trip into madness. Seriously, who let Kento Shimoyama write a script for this show?

Pretty enjoyable episode, but ultimately average for Kyuranger. It was great to see Hammy get some real, genuine attention finally, and Lucky seems to be butting into episodes less and less lately, which helps. The little bits of Champ and Stinger were nice too, even if they felt inserted somewhat awkwardly.

Not sure what's up with Naga though. Given this show's writing, I wouldn't be surprised if his behavior here turns out to mean something, but then, maybe this is just what happens when Balance isn't around to, erm, balance things out?

Also, I'd just like to take a second to appreciate how much Kyuranger tries to keep the action fresh. This might seem like a minor point but think about how often we see Kyuren-Oh's back. It really feels like more effort is being put in than usual with the camerawork.
