There's plenty of OTHER aspects of the show that aren't justifaizable though.

The thing that kinda diminishes that aspect is that, more or less, all of the victims of Kiba's group were awful human beings. Not to say any of those people deserve it, but as an audience member, it's hard to feel sorry for them. It looks less like "Kiba is really starting to lose it" and more like "Hell yeah, Kiba! Kill that asshole!"

Even when he pulls a face-heel turn, his most notable kill is Kusaka, who is an absolutely horrible human being who was pretty much asking for it.
