I think those are just part of the base suit aesthetics. That said, if we ignore those and look at only the modular bits of the suits such as the eyes and armor, it differentiates itself from Build's suit by going symmetrically Rorschach on us.

Can't complain. Auto Vajin was one of the best. But then again, I think it depends whether it fits the show or not generally. Most importantly it seems to be all about budget allocation with these things. In the case of Faiz there were a small handful of riders unlike Ryuki so they probably decided to spend the money.
