Season passes, microtransactions, etc, are the biggest banes of gaming right now. The worst part is that people are stupid enough to buy it, which is why the publishers keep doing it. Look at We Happy Few. That game was a Kickstarter game, met its goal required to be released, and now they sold out to Gearbox, who doubled the price of the game, is now including a season pass, and they are releasing a $150 collector's edition that doesn't even come with the game. WTF?
