And how the hell were people tricked into buying the season pass? I've seen this same argument for INJ1,MKX and SFV and every time it's just been people upset that a character they wanted didn't make the cut.

True, but Cage scored quite a bit higher than Raiden in the poll meaning he's more welcomed, especially as Cage doesn't really do anything popular DC characters do iirc. Again, Static's a very common request I see thrown around, and Raiden just feels like a twisted knife when he wasn't as highly requested as Cage and he potentially invalidated Static's inclusion
