Like it's hard for me to sit through something like Sentai for whatever reason due to that also having very episodic plots. Yet with Ultraman it's easier somehow.

I don't know if it's the characters, the way the Kaiju Battles are handled, but the Ultraman Episodic Formula is one that I thought I wouldn't get into. Yet I watched 10 Episodes in one day because each one interested me enough to want to watch more.

Well the first show in the Ultraman franchise was technically Ultra Q, which from what I've read was akin to shows like the Twilight Zone or The X-Files. So I think Ultraman shows just inherently lend themselves better to episodic plots.
