Up to and including calling to find out whether or not I'd show up for my shift, while I was at my grandfather's funeral. Which I told them about two days in advance.

How lovely. Yeah TRU management has no respect for family emergencies. Once you had one they made sure to punish you with reduced hours. Now I had a routine schedule for the most part. One day I requested a day off I normally have off to make sure I wouldn't get scheduled for that day. Instead of giving me my usually hours, my boss gave me no hours that week.
