Honestly, I think it's a perfectly fine show. But I guess I just like the cast, Haruto in particular, a lot more than the average watcher.

I'm on the tail end of my first Wizard watch right now, and I have to agree. Even if the plot is really minimal for most of the show, the cast is surprisingly engaging. Heck, even Shunpei is endearing once you cast past his initial overplayed clumsiness in the first few episodes. My sister says she has big complaints about the fact that the wizard villains are wholly ineffective at being a threat in any way, but I actually find that to be pretty funny. So yeah, I have to say I like Wizard based on the 40-something episodes I have seen so far.
