I'm on the tail end of my first Wizard watch right now, and I have to agree. Even if the plot is really minimal for most of the show, the cast is surprisingly engaging. That actually makes me think I'll enjoy Wizard. I don't mind when Toku is light on plot, as long as the individual episodes are compelling. I liked Ninninger because the MOTW stuff was a ton of fun, but Megaranger bored me because it wasn't.
