I always watch the recent Ultraman shows on Tsusburaya's YouTube channel to see them early (I don't pay for Crunchyroll), and ever since the back half of Orb I haven't felt the need to even watch them subtitled later. With Geed I've been pretty consistently getting 90-100% of the dialogue, which is what inspired me to finally watch Gridman.

What Dr Kain says is pretty accurate. Unless an episode of a show comes along where the hero files their taxes or does college level math for 22 minutes, you don't need to have a massive vocabulary.
