Once again, Idiot Plot strikes. Maybe Redbot's book would've been more successful if he documented the Rangers adventures and could've been used for a recap episode, but his idiotic decision to lie and make up heroic stories about him being the real hero is what ruined the idea.

Another way to make this episode even better: Have that publisher a monster in disguise, making Redbot reveal more Rangers' secrets, kidnap him, or even mess with his programming to be the Rangers' enemy or something close to evil Alpha from MMPR.

All I'm saying is: Do something with Redbot that actually makes us care about him instead of a background object.

But what can we do? Limited Sentai footage and writers not willing to take risks don't bring the best of products.
