[Fish Sandwich]

You know, when I saw Kento Shimoyama was writing another episode, I was really worried, considering he totally botched the single chance Garu has had so far at actual development, even if the episode was still funny. It's a fairly subtle difference, but I felt his writing style didn't gel with Kyuranger at all. It was just bland filler.

This episode, though! Man, it was everything that makes me love Ninninger, except it was Kyuranger. Wacky antics mixed with genuine heart and developed heroes. Brilliant, I love it. This worked fantastically as an epilogue to the whole Hebitsukai Metal story and bringing it back around to Hammy was a great choice. We also FINALLY got that episode with Hiroya Matsumoto as an actual guest character, so any way you slice it, this episode rocks. An unexpected favorite of the series for me.

Because Don Armage is *everywhere*. I actually really like that idea. I don't expect the potential to fully be taken advantage of, but the idea of the head bad guy of a Sentai being some unstoppable hive mind entity that could be pulling the strings in a million different places without you knowing is kind of terrifying.
