I must admit I still don't feel compelled to buy Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. In a year with so many good games out there's no shortage of playing option whereas last year there weren't a lot of good games coming out on console I owned (albeit that was mainly 3DS and Wii U at the time) plus I was super hyped last year about a game that was significantly shaking up the Pokemon formula. Whereas this as a bonus game in the generation doesn't seem to appeal to me too much as the only use I'd see would be move tutors to expand Gen 7 Pokemon's movesets. Plus I think it's doing something like ORAS and imbalancing the metagame with the new additions.

I can see this game being essential for VGC players who will want the latest iteration of the metagame but personally I feel like waiting until Gen 8 comes out on the Switch. Albeit Gen 8 is going to be a real make or break game for Pokemon as they may have to change up the way some things work due to the slightly different nature of the Switch hardware.
