The way they developed him despite being a top tier lackey for Bias alongside his other classmates that defected to Volt is still a rarity. We had villains defect in Super Sentai with some being rangers but I think Omura's redemption has weight to it and is one of the reasons Liveman is one of the best 80s Super Sentai shows.

Been meaning to check out Liveman for a while, it definitely seems like a really interesting show!
