I'm pretty sure that's the point. Odd that this isn't even the first recent Kamen Rider series to feature a soda-pop upgrade.

Also, I'm in the boat of people who saw the preview and thought that was the in-show suit. If I liked the design at all, I'd be stoked for it, but... nope. Can't stand it. I suspect this series is going to be notorious for replacing stellar base forms with drastically less appealing upgrades.
