I think it looks bad.

Individually it's like they couldn't make up their mind between machines and animals so they slapped animal heads on random machines and so we ended up with a decent snake, a pretty lame dragon in comparison to ones we got in the past, and a dull everything else.
The transformation is too simple for my tastes. It makes the Ninja Megazord look complicated. The dragon barely transforms at all. You just pull off a bunch of parts, flip the head around, and then reassemble.

Combine it starts to look a little better, but it's a bummer not more can be done with the wings. The changes they made for the US release are all good ones, IMO.
