Again I get that it's the first episode, but I still feel that, to me at least, we don't know anything about the two teams yet other than 'Umika is kind of a ditz'? Or at least that's how it feels to me.

Of course, still the first episode so like, I'm definitely not actually holding this against the show, that'd be stupid, but as an episode by itself, just feels lacking to me.

I think we got a bit more out of their personalities than just that, they gave each team a whole scene to show their personalities outside of their suits. For the Lupins, Blue seems a bit cold and Red seems a bit tricky. On the Pato side, Red is really high-strung, Green is an over-eager newbie, and Pink...I actually don't remember any personality that they showed about her. There was a lot to cover in this episode, and I think they balanced it out pretty well.

Anyways, I think I read a rumor somewhere that episodes will alternate between focusing on each team. That could be interesting, but it also could lead to the other team's involvement in each plot feeling rushed. I wonder how they're going to balance both teams each episode. Maybe just a slight focus, like how they did it this episode. That would make next episode more Patoranger-focused, which is fine by me.
