[Kamen Rider Lucha]

The only way to get me interested in Power Rangers after an 18 year lapse in fandom is if Saban veered as far away from its standard "this is a show for lowest common denominator toddlers" model as possible. I'm not even saying that I want the show to be aged up -- after all, sentai is still for kids and I love it. I'm suggesting that maybe they try not playing toward the dumbest of the young'uns -- maybe take an approach more reminiscent of the recent Transformers shows (obviously, another Hasbro property).

If Hasbro has any input in the tone of the actual show, and can swing it into something that appeals to child and adult fans alike (again, ala sentai), I'm throwing as many of my chips behind them as I can. But hell, I'll support them even if they only have influence over the toys and all I get is high-quality action figures of my favorite Sentai teams.
