As far as secondary Riders go, I always thought Accel was one of the better ones. But Cross Z Magma just replaced that. While it won't be used for the full animation a lot the whole poured magma dragon is just pure AWESOME. I had to rewind several times just because I love that effect.

As a gimmick, Magma Knuckle isn't any worse or better than Cross Z Dragon. But for the suit? Again, one of the best secondary rider suits, and not because it's a redeco/recolor. Functionally, there's not a lot that gets in the way. The special move looks great because of it.

I also like that they're not flipping to Genius so quickly. RabbitRabbit TankTank is excellent enough that you can get some good scenes. I am surprised that Hell Bros has lasted as long as it has.

The other aspect I feel makes Build such an excellent series has been the direction. The scenes with Sawa and Misora looking back on Banjou's history where they appear as observers isn't anything new, but it was done so well that you feel like a part of the story.

Banjou/Evol was a good way to not make him just a secondary with nothing else to offer. You might argue that Grease is that way, but there's been a lot of time given to his story and turn. Gentoku I also think could be in that same but it'll be much shorter because of how they're accelerating the Mars/Pandora main plot. Overall, each character has some form of development in this series, they're not minimized.

Still the biggest equation in this is Sentou. As Katsuragi, we don't know yet why he chose to defy Faust. Or what made him turn. There are some hints in the Rogue special. But if they're going to go with a connection through his parents, then that might be part of why he made a choice to become Sentou.
