I'm beyond grateful to Chris for his years of steady leadership and service to this community. While he won't be entirely gone, he will still be missed. And I'm really excited for what he has to share with everyone in the future. Keep your eyes peeled!

And, I'm more than honored to take the helm after the last 7 years of growth and change. I aim to do my very best to maintain the same kind of quality of coverage that he always has. When Chris began putting this site together 7 years ago, and put the feelers out for people to help staff it, I never imagined that one day the reigns would be passed to me. I was literally the least experienced and familiar person on staff. He didn't know me at all. I'd never written articles for a website, or done photography, or anything else relating to my duties here now. Yet here I am.

I also never imagined the close friendships being a member of this community would bring to me, with him, and so many others. TokuNation has shaped my adult life and who I am as a person in countless ways. I owe much of who I am now, to my involvement with this site.

I won't fail you, any of you.
