It'll have no real impact.

Kamen rider's got several anniversaries coming up though. And Sentai does too. So those will have impact. They've got their 20th rider, then the actual 20 years, and then right after they've got original's 50th.

So 2019-2022 is all booked up already. With likely 2022 kicking off the next generation/era. All of which was likely planned before this announcement anyway.

2018-2019 is Zi-Oh. (20th modern series. 29th overall.)
2019-2020 is 20 years celebration(30th series but also technically first of the new era potentially considered transitional since it's in the middle of anniversary stuff).
2020-2021 and 2021-2022 is 50th anniversary for Kamen Rider's first series. Expect some extra big stuff. (31st and 32nd series overall, but also 2 and 3 of the new era, potentially classified as transitional due to interruption by anniversaries.)
And then 2022 is whatever new generation/next decade will be, unless they kick it off in 2021 as part of the 50th celebrations. (33rd series overall, 4th of the new era.)

So likely they have plans through until 2024 already. We're in heavy anniversary mode for Rider stuff right now for the next few years, they kind of all hit back to back.

That being said though, this transition is fitting for the timing with the anniversaries and new eras coming. Awfully convenient actually. That kind of marketing luck is rather perfect for them in general.

But looking at the timing of the dates, and then the fact they'll want 2022 and 2023 to set the tone after the anniversaries of what the next eras will be, like how Kiva and Decade to W and OOOs. We're likely looking at a stretch of series that should all get some really interesting material and some heavy merchandising potential types. Something I think Build was made in anticipation for too. Literally "building up to it."

Then for Sentai we have 2022 as Zyuranger's 30th anniversary, and 2025 as Gorenger's 50th. So we should expect some interesting stuff from sentai in that duration of 2022-2026. Zyu in particular is a big thing to celebrate for them as it's what created Power Rangers which was a massive source of royalties and brought super sentai to the world as a whole. So 2022-2024 is particularly important to them for 30 years of being on the world stage now, with then 2025 marking 50 years for the franchise entirely. And that's before the series numbers each would be.

So Toei is pretty much in celebration mode from next series to 2026 overall between Riders and Sentai.
