Takara's only involvement with Hasbro is Transformers. What Hasbro does with Power Rangers in its own market is of no concern to them. And any Power Rangers product would only be competing with Bandai of Japan if it were imported to their country, not Transformers.

That said, I imagine Hasbro will do their own engineering. This...may not be a good thing. Hasbro has a track record of not doing Transformers designs well when Takara isn't there to lend their expertise. Brian Chapman is the Head of Design. Depending on who they hire to work on engineering underneath him (John Warden is the Transformers senior design manager, BTW), I'm slightly afraid we may end up with a few dumpster fires before we get things properly made.
