I wonder if there's a drastic change in TOEI regarding ZIO and the series coincidence with the end of HEISEI era that affects Build's last arc. Maybe they're planning to end Build around the episode 40 and then have Zio filling the series until end of Heisei but now Heisei is kinda stretched from original january plan to around april so Build need to stretched further.

Or the main director simply wants to have all threads neatly bundled up and all named characters have some kind of arcs. They name drop Sento's father, so...they need to wrap that up. It's like weird sense of Pride.
