The two leads were pretty good though, and its got a unique dynamic that hopefully I'll get behind more. I just hope they shave that transformation sequence down quickly because it lost its appeal far too quickly.

More or less my thoughts. Geed took me a couple of episodes before it really clicked with me, though, so I'm by no means going to write off R/B at this point. I hope the kaiju fights lose the slapstick elements as the heroes get more accustomed to fighting.

Well, we have to include a past Ultra gimmick somehow. God forbid we have a hero that's just his own thing and not explicitly based on one or more old characters.
