That's not a Gary Stu though, that's Yamato getting a large chunk of pie in comparison to the rest. A Gary Stu or a Mary Stu is a character who's literally perfect that everyone loves and thinks is right as they are never wrong. Keep in mind the term first existed in fanfiction and stuff so...
