I can't believe I've come to the point to say this but I've grown tired of Build. It has overstayed its welcome. It's clear that the show should have ended a few episodes back.

This episode clearly showed how. Build has become a typical Kamen Rider show, which is not a bad thing in general, just bad in context. The comedy has become dumb, such as Gentoku's attire or Kazumi's creepiness, the plot had become contrived, such as pointless Katsuragi dad villain, and characters exist merely for the sake of existing, such as Utsumi.

These all things were obvious a few episodes ago but it is only now that I've become intolerant of them. Maybe it was because of Gentoku's ridiculous shirt gimmick, maybe it was because of Evolt's rather anticlimactic death and the fact that it won't stick. Whatever the reason, I am finally tired of this series. I'll still watch till the end though, out of remembrance of the Build that was.

Which is a damn shame because the episode itself was good. It was just the comedy in between that left a bitter taste in my mouth.
