That was some great Gaim and early Heisei rider vibes. The stakes was going higher and higher. Now they went the fourze and power ranger route where all the former rival/enemies are buddy buddy again in the most silliest and ridiculous way possible, which doesn't fit the tone of the series anymore. You would never thought Gentoku will act like this if someone told you so a few months ago. He's pretty much sucks at everything and only gotten his job because of his father. I think his dad did mention him being shy, naive, and vulnerable type before, so I guess the current Gentoku is him breaking free and doing whatever he likes. There were so many ways Misora, vernage, Evolt, shouchi, katsuragi, etc stories can go, but the way they did it during the final quarter was rush and bad stalling until the finale.
