I both agree and disagree.

Super Megaforce already directly copies tons of scenes from Gokaiger, but without the context that makes those scenes actually good. Main ones I can think of are the episode with the duel which copied scenes directly from Gokaiger, only it didn't work because the blue ranger in each series are completely different, and basically the entire finale, which is just Gokaiger's finale but without any emotional impact.

Certain elements definitely should have been kept, though. Basco especially. If they had bothered to keep in certain elements, yet split off into doing their own thing, it could have been really good. But they didn't so the show was terrible.
