Blade has what is still, to this day, my favorite ending of any Rider series. It's such a beautiful moment of self-sacrifice and finding a third way instead of choosing one of the two bad options being presented.

I really hate it when this happens in a Kamen Rider. And of course I dig up the movies and there's like 6 of them. And I can't seem to find any reference as to WTF just happened in the story arc or why this huge plot point that was built up for quite a few episodes has suddenly vanished. Did I fall asleep and miss an episode or two? It feels like it.


If I didn't think Hana-san was hot, and I didn't find Momotaros to be an awesome and funny Oni-Looking character, I'd almost be tempted to rage quit this series for a little while.

You did miss a movie: the Ore Tanjou film. This was the first time in the Heisei era that a Rider series' movie was explicitly canon to the series, to the point where there were multiple episodes building up to it. It's a pretty good watch and it introduces a character that shows up a lot in the post-series films.

And, um, about Hana... I really hope you find more about the show that you like. Quickly.
