Yep. It recaps the most important arcs all while presenting it in a nice art style. As for X-Men Blue I think what made me keep reading was that it was just refreshing to see the OG first class with new gear and do what they do best. I wasnt too keen on the symbiote thing but Jimmy being Poison was fun to see. If I was able to break the laws of time travel and was allowed to show kid me one thing from the future it would be Poison. Kid me would be like "To hell with Avengers, THEY PUT A SYMBIOTE AND A WOLVERINE INTO A BLENDER AND MERGED IT?!".
Regarding the costumes I hope Marvel takes some major notes from X-Men Blue when producing MCU X-Men movies. The designs are just perfect and the colors are a nice nod to their individual costumes from the old days.
