Weird. Although I must say the DX one looks better, and assuming the size of this prototype is final it might be just as expensive. Without the assist vehicles of course.

It sort of looks like it's gonna be some kind of larger scale figure that focuses just on Gridman himself. I'm guessing it ditches the combination gimmick entirely and focuses more on just him as an action figure. Which is interesting, though not of interest personally. I'll take the DX transforming set myself.
