It would be cool if makoto is unaffected in the prsent and ghost remembers his past temporary until the battle is over then we take makoto off his memory too. Well, this might cause some writing problem, but as loose as how another riders work with their conscious sentient mind as well as how tribute episodes work, it's a mess already.
