Was really busy last week with midterms, didn't really have time to watch the episode till today. It was fantastic. Loved seeing the Ore Journal editor in chief and Shinji again, even if it was brief. Was also very happy to see that they didn't try to justify Ryuga as somehow being part of the normal history, instead specifically making it a plot point that he was from a alternate and no longer existant timeline. Was hoping they'd give an explanation of how Shinji's seemingly kept his powers to appear in the big crossover movies, but there's still a chance of that in 22 or the web movie
