This was a good episode IMO. I appreciate that there's a "natural" reason to why the monsters of the week become giants and it fits well with the Druidon's plans. It's not just some second chance/last resort transformation.

I was worried Ui's comedy was gonna be too much like the first episode but it wasn't. Nice and simple. The overall initial teamwork with the three RyuSoulgers was pretty good so far. While it was slightly more focused on Koh, Melt and Asuna actually had time to develop (we learn more about Melt's personality) and contributed to the episode a bit more than the first episode. The KishiRyuOh mech fight was really good. The stunts and the camera work do a great job of selling the fight, same with the RyuSoulger fights.

I will say that explaining the RyuSoul and Druidon Tribes history again was kinda unnecessary overall (it's used as a means for Ui to learn about it and take them to her father's place). We already know this and the RyuSoulger already know this.

But overall, I enjoyed this episode. Another good episode for RyuSoulger.
