After just over a month, I've finished Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Alien Rangers. Season 3 was pretty great. Story felt like it actually had some effort put into it in the second half with the Pink Ranger and Alien Rangers arcs. Heck of a cliffhanger ending to the show the ninja suits were an interesting idea, as was the metallic armor. Ninja zords were cool, I'd remembered then from the movie. Don't remember the Shogun zords though.

As for the new characters, it was a mix of good and bad. I'd completely forgotten who Rito was when they said his name, but I recognized the suit the second it appeared. He was fun for a comic relief villain. Would have been nice if having him around let Goldar become a season 1 style threat again, but unfortunately he's still a bumbling moron now too. Master Vile on the other hand I didn't remember name or suit. He was pretty underwhelming. Not much to say about him. He showed up, failed a couple times, then cut his losses and left. Guess that means he's smarter than Zedd or Rita.

Ninjor was disappointing. I remember the suit, and I was excited to see what he'd be like, but his voice was seriously annoying. Not exactly what is expect of a ninja, more of some weird fop. Katherine was great. The idea of someone having lingering effects from Rita's magic was pretty cool, disappointed it's only come up once so far. Her actress is pretty good, even if having a single Australian accent in the middle of a cast of Californian accents is a bit odd. I liked Delphine, was cool to have a woman leading a team. Her and Cestro were the only ones who's names I could remember. Tanya's done so little so far I can't really say anything about her.

Oh, and the movie was super fun. Very nostalgic. I watched it on VHS so many times as a kid. Ivan Ooze more than lived in to memory. The movie version of the Mighty Morphin suits were fantastic looking too. Loved the way it made the Dairanger KibaRanger suit blend more with the other Zyuranger suits by putting the coin on everyone's chest. CGI mecha fight was crap though, even for 95
