I liked it, I still wanted more Monsters and less Humans.

The critics saying there's too much monster action and not enough human drama I think are out of their minds. There were quite a few points I was just getting sick of seeing the humans whining and wanted to get to the monsters fighting.

in the Toho films I often like the human characters and want to see more of their story, but for some reason in the USA movies I almost always find the human characters to be boring or just sort of unlikable.

Brian Cranston in 2014 I found very interesting but we all know how that turned out. So far he's the only Legendary character I've found interesting.

I can't believe that girl in KotM got paid over a million dollars to be in the movie and basically do nothing. She really did nothing and really didn't have much dialogue. She ran around a bit, that's about it. What a pay-day for a bit of running around.

The monsters looked great. I really liked Rodan and Ghidorah a lot and thought they were portrayed very well.

Mothra didn't really get much screen time at all, I feel like if you added up all her screen time it's probably less than a couple minutes.

Godzilla of course was great, and my favorite character.
